Corporate Plan 2026 to 2031

Buckinghamshire has much to be proud of, from its towns, villages and countryside to its strong local economy. But we also face real challenges. Major national infrastructure projects, higher housing targets and changes to funding are reshaping our county. At the same time, demand for services is growing, particularly in areas like social care, SEND support, housing and transport, while we continue to manage cost of living pressures.

Despite this, we are positive about the future. This plan focuses on creating opportunity for all, shaping great places, building strong communities and supporting our most vulnerable residents, while delivering high-quality services and value for money.

We will help people live independently, give children the best start in life, support local jobs and businesses, and invest in our communities and environment.

We know we cannot do this alone. We will work closely with our partners, communities and residents to deliver real change and make the biggest difference.
