16. Overpayments

16.1 The Council will seek to recover any Housing Payment that has been overpaid, this would include those resulting from misrepresentation or a failure to disclose a material fact, whether this occurred fraudulently or otherwise, or arising from administrative error.

16.2 All Housing Payment overpayments that are identified and recovered will be recorded and reported in accordance with the Crisis and Resilience Fund’s audit and management information requirements.
