14. Method of payment for Housing Payments
14.1 Housing Payments may be issued alongside existing Housing Benefit payments, or where appropriate, may be made directly to landlords or other third parties, such as managing agents or appointees, when it is in the best interests of the applicant or necessary to secure or maintain accommodation.
