Crisis and Resilience Fund policy

2.1 From 1 April 2026, Household Support Fund (HSF) will end in England, and Crisis Payments delivered through the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) will replace them. Crisis Payments must be administered in accordance with the CRF guidance (2026 to 2029).

2.2 The Council must be satisfied that the applicant resides in Buckinghamshire, requires immediate support, meets the eligibility criteria, and that it is reasonable to award a Crisis Payment to prevent an immediate risk of harm or hardship.
