Crisis and Resilience Fund policy

Purpose The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear, consistent, compliant framework for assessing funding applications in accordance with government grant guidance for the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).

This policy covers the Crisis Payment and Housing Payment applications in accordance with government grant guidance for the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).

The Housing Payment scheme replaces Discretionary Housing Payments from 1 April 2026 and supports residents entitled to Housing Benefit or Universal Credit (Housing Costs) who require further financial assistance with housing costs.
