10. Housing Payments
10.1 From 1 April 2026, Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs) will end in England, and Housing Payments delivered through the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) will replace them. Housing Payments must be administered in accordance with the CRF guidance (2026 to 2029).
10.2 The Council must be satisfied that the applicant requires additional support with their housing costs and that, taking account of their circumstances, it is reasonable to award a Housing Payment.
