Apply for money off Council Tax if you are over 18 and have Child Benefit paid for you

Anyone who reaches the age of 18 but Child Benefit is still being received for them will be disregarded from council tax.

Child Benefit can be paid to a maximum age of 20 whilst the young person remains in “approved” further education.
