Buckinghamshire Highways Maintenance Transparency Report

The transparency report contains two main parts - the core report and the technical annex.

The core report contains:

• How we maintain local roads, pavements, and the wider highway network
• What we are responsible for maintaining
• Road conditions in Buckinghamshire
• What we are doing about potholes and other road defects
• What we spend to maintain the highway network and where the funding is coming from
• Our maintenance plans for this year

This provides a more detailed view of the services delivered by Buckinghamshire Highways.

It includes additional information on the highway assets we manage, how maintenance activities are planned and prioritised, the funding available, performance measures, asset condition data, and the scale of works carried out across the network.

This annex is intended to give residents, stakeholders and those with a particular interest in highway maintenance greater insight into the technical aspects of how the service operates and how investment decisions are made.
