Structural maintenance and snagging works are ongoing with the bridge now lowered onto the newly installed bearings. These activities will be undertaken beneath the bridge and are expected to continue for the duration of the project. Retexturing is a preventative maintenance treatment that removes a thin layer from the road surface to improve texture and skid resistance, helping to maintain safety and extend the life of the carriageway without the need for full resurfacing.

As part of a multi-phase programme of street lighting improvements across Buckinghamshire, this programme of work will replace 40 damaged street lighting assets with new columns and energy-efficient LED lanterns. The work will take place in Amersham, Aylesbury, Beaconsfield, Biddlesden, Bourne End, Buckingham, Calvert Green, Chesham, Fairford Leys, Flackwell Heath, Great Horwood, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Marlow, Princes Risborough and Stoke Poges. |

As part of a countywide road-marking programme across Buckinghamshire, worn road markings will be refreshed and reinstated where required to help maintain visibility and safety for all road users. The programme includes the renewal of road markings such as centre lines, give way markings, road studs, high friction surfacing, lane markings and other carriageway markings that have deteriorated through normal wear and tear. Works will take place at various locations across Buckinghamshire, including Aylesbury, Buckingham, Beachampton, High Wycombe, Wing, Amersham and various other highly frequented roads across the county. As part of a countywide road-marking programme across Buckinghamshire, worn road markings will be refreshed and reinstated where required to help maintain visibility and safety for all road users. The programme includes the renewal of road markings such as centre lines, give way markings, road studs, high-friction surfacing, lane markings and other carriageway markings that have deteriorated through normal wear and tear. Works will take place at various locations across Buckinghamshire, including Aylesbury, Buckingham, Beachampton, High Wycombe, Wing and Amersham, as well as on various other heavily used roads across the county. Traffic management measures will vary depending on the site. Some road closures will be necessary to install the road markings; however, works will be carried out at night to minimise disruption where possible. |

Countywide refresh programme for highly trafficked pedestrian and zebra crossings. New MMA material being used will improve the quality and visibility of the crossings to improve safety. Crossings will be refreshed in Aylesbury, Chesham, Hazlemere, Chalfonts, Stoke Poges and various other locations Road closures will be used to carry out these works. Each closure will be in place for around 2 hours to allow the MMA material time to cure. |

Five points roundabout, Iver (From Monday 19 January to March 2027)
Traffic management for Five Points Roundabout is a single lane 1 closure on Uxbridge Road west bound (existing the roundabout.) and lane 2 closure on Uxbridge Road approaching the roundabout, either side and the inner ring of the Five Points Roundabout, with two way traffic still flowing. Also temporary 2-way lights on Wood Lane.
Some activities depend on weather conditions and dates may change at short notice.
