Changing or transferring street trading consent

Find out how to change your street trading consent, what it will cost and when a new application is required.

You must ask and wait for approval from our Licensing Team before making any changes to your trading.

You will need to either contact the Licensing Team about the change or make a new application depending on the change needed. If a new application is needed, the 28 day consultation will need to be carried out again.

Increasing trading hours

£393 plus a pro-rata maintenance fee for the remaining consent period

A 50% reduction in maintenance fees is available for traders who intend to operate for 20 hours or less per week. The reduction applies to the maintenance element of the fee only.

Street trading consents are tied to the person who has applied for it. They cannot be transferred to other people.
