Request to set up free parking days
Local councils and committees can request free parking days in council car parks to support local events, encourage visitors and help town centres.
Who can apply
The following organisations can apply:
- town councils
- parish councils
- High Wycombe BIDCO (Business Improvement District)
You can request up to 2 free parking days each calendar year for each eligible location. This is separate to free parking at Christmas.
As a resident, charity, voluntary group or business, you can contact your local council or committee to suggest a day for free parking.

You can suggest an event to support with free parking by contacting your local council or BIDCO.

Christmas free parking days
We provide 2 free parking days each year on the second and third Saturdays in December for car parks that support a high street.
