Apply for a care leaver Council Tax discount

If you're a Buckinghamshire care leaver, under the age of 21 and you have your own tenancy, we can pay your Council Tax up until the age of 21 years old.

If you live in a shared housing arrangement of with a partner, we will only pay your portion of the bill.

Apply for a discount

To apply you must follow 2 steps:

  1. Apply for a Council Tax reduction if you're on a low income or benefits.
  2. Then, apply for a discount for care leavers.

If you don't follow these steps in order it may result in your claim being delayed.
