Our priorities for 2026 to 2027
View our priorities for each of the areas:
Beaconsfield:
- To support the wellbeing of elderly and youth communities by strengthening access to inclusive services, social opportunities, and community-led initiatives, alongside intergenerational projects, that reduce isolation and promote connection
Burnham:
- To work with partners to enhance the local environment, making Burnham a healthier, greener, and more attractive place to live and work
Chalfont St Giles & Little Chalfont:
- To work with partners to harness local heritage and to highlight natural features such as Chalk Streams as a driver of economic success, by building pride in the community and promoting the villages as vibrant destinations
Chalfont St Peter:
- Deliver targeted youth provision through outreach, mentoring, and safe spaces — meeting young people where they are and offering consistent, trusted support that promotes wellbeing, positive choices, and community connection
Farnhams & Stoke Poges:
- To work with partners to strengthen community cohesion by helping residents connect with one another, reducing isolation and building a stronger sense of belonging
- Promote a cleaner, greener, and more resilient environment through community-led action and partnership working. This includes caring for local chalk streams, planting trees and wildflowers, tackling litter, and supporting efforts to reduce the impact of flooding
Gerrards Cross & Denham:
- To expand access to sports and recreational facilities as a way to enhance the local environment and reduce anti-social behaviour by providing positive, inclusive spaces for physical activity, social engagement, and youth diversion
Iver:
- To work with partners to ensure the long-term sustainability of community buildings by making them viable, fit-for-purpose spaces that serve evolving local needs
