Transfer an alcohol and entertainment licence
Applications to transfer (change the current name of the licence holder) a premises licence or club premises certificate must be made by the incoming licence holder.
You may want to apply for a transfer of licence if you are selling your business or undergoing a change of management.
How to apply

Applications cost £23.
During your application you’ll be asked to upload:
- the original premises licence or club premises certificate
- a transfer consent form (signed by the current licence holder)
You should make sure you have these documents available before you begin.
If you apply online, a copy of your application will be sent to Thames Valley Police and The Home Office (Immigration Enforcement) automatically.
You’ll be asked to register or log in to your account.
If you’re unable to complete the online application form, you can submit your applications on the GOV.UK website.
GOV.UK also provide a paper application.

You will also need to send another paper copy of your filled out application form to Thames Valley Police and The Home Office (Immigration Enforcement) on the same day.
