Busy periods
This site is busiest on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The site is quietest on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
During busy periods, especially at weekends, last entry may be before 4pm to allow those already onsite to unload their waste and exit before the site closes.

You can use this recycling centre for free if you live in Buckinghamshire.
Remember to bring proof of address, for example:
- driving licence
- utility bill
- Council Tax statement

What you can take to Aston Clinton recycling centre
You can take many household items to a recycling centre for free. This includes:
- aerosols
- batteries
- car batteries (up to 2 per year)
- carpet
- clothing and textiles
- cooking oil
- DIY waste (limits apply, find out about DIY waste)
- fluorescent tubes - up to 4 fluorescent tubes per year
- furniture - including broken up or dismantled furniture
- fridges, cookers or other large electrical appliances
- garden waste
- gas bottles
- general waste
- mattresses
- paint - if hardened (paint can be hardened by adding paint hardener, sand, sawdust or soil)
- paper and cardboard
- small electrical appliances for example a toaster or printer
- televisions and monitors
- waste engine oil – up to 10 litres per year
- vapes

DIY waste
You can dispose of a limited amount of DIY waste for free each week if you apply for a DIY permit.

We accept asbestos waste at this site, charges apply.
You'll need to apply for an asbestos waste permit.
Business and charity waste
You can pay to bring your business or charity waste to this site between Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.

What you cannot take to Aston Clinton recycling centre
We do not accept the following items:
- dead animals, carcasses and faeces
- large quantities of animal bedding (allow 1 to 2 bags per week from small domestic pets, must be double bagged).
- materials presenting a direct contact risk
- tree trunks and branches thicker than 20cm and or longer than 2m
- flammables and explosives, such as fireworks or ammunition
- storage heaters containing asbestos (pre 1980 or models with SR the end of the model number
Vehicles that are not allowed on site
For safety and capacity reasons, we do not allow any of the following vehicles into this site:
- a vehicle with more than 4 wheels
- a vehicle weighing more than 7.5 tonnes
- a trailer larger than 2.4m long x 1.8m wide, up to 60cm high with a cover and excluding tow bar
- a vehicle with a tipper or tail lift mechanism
- horseboxes
- tractors
Our sites are not fitted with height barriers, however, staff will turn away residents who arrive in the above vehicles.
Vehicle restrictions
If you visit the site in a van, truck or minibus, you'll need to apply for a vehicle waste permit.
Compost for sale
Sustainable, local and peat-free compost is available to buy from this recycling centres.
We only accept card payments.
