Book a bulky item collection

Overview

You can book a collection of large waste items, like sofas, fridges or washing machines, from your home.

We charge a fee for the items to be removed.

This is for household items that you cannot leave out with your normal bin collections.

What we collect

Garden furniture Barbeques, lawnmowers, dismantled swings, children's plastic toys

What we do not collect

We do not collect:

  • ceramic or plastic bathroom suites or shower cubicles
  • boilers or water tanks
  • building waste (plasterboard, rubble, ceramic tiles, asbestos)
  • carpet, linoleum or laminate flooring
  • doors or windows
  • garden waste
  • kitchen units
  • plate glass
  • sheds or fence panels
  • car tyres
  • pianos
  • storage heaters

We do not provide any discounts or exemptions, regardless of your circumstances.

Make a booking online. You'll need to select the items you want collecting and then pick from available collection dates.

On your collection day

Make sure you:

  • only put out the items that you have booked for collection
  • put the items outside your property before 6am on the collection day
  • put the items where your waste bins are usually left for collection (as close to the road as possible)
  • do not obstruct the pavement or street

We'll only collect items that you have listed for collection and that the collection crew can access.

If you need help moving your items

Consider asking a friend, relative or neighbour to help you leave your items in the place you specify in your booking.

We cannot enter your premises to collect items.
