Book a collection
Make a booking online. You'll need to select the items you want collecting and then pick from available collection dates.
On your collection day
Make sure you:
- only put out the items that you have booked for collection
- put the items outside your property before 6am on the collection day
- put the items where your waste bins are usually left for collection (as close to the road as possible)
- do not obstruct the pavement or street
We'll only collect items that you have listed for collection and that the collection crew can access.
If you need help moving your items
Consider asking a friend, relative or neighbour to help you leave your items in the place you specify in your booking.

If you want to make any changes to the items being collected or the collection day, you will need to cancel and book a new collection.
To receive a full refund, you must contact us at least 2 working days before your collection date.
Our teams have until 6pm to collect your items. We know that sometimes a collection may not happen and that’s never our intention.
If we miss you, wait until the following day and then report a missed bulky item collection.
Bulky items are broken down for recycling or taken to our Energy from Waste (EfW) plant at Greatmoor.
If we think an item is suitable, we may take it to one of our reuse shops at either Aston Clinton or High Wycombe household recycling centres.
You could consider:
- selling the item on Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace
- donating the item to a local charity who offer collections, such as British Heart Foundation or Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse
- giving them away for free, for example, by using Freegle or LoveJunk
- taking the items to a household recycling centre to donate the items for reuse
