Apply for an upper school place (year 9)
Apply for an out-of-county upper school if you live in Buckinghamshire and your child is due to move up to Year 9 in September 2027.
Applicable schools
You will need to apply online for their school place to any of the following schools:
- Cedars Upper in Leighton Buzzard
- Vandyke Upper in Leighton Buzzard
- Redbourne Upper in Ampthill
- Windsor Boys
- Windsor Girls
The closing date for applications is 31 October 2026.

What happens next
We'll email you an offer in March 2027 for on-time applications.
If you make a late application, between 1 November 2026 and 15 March 2027, we'll send you an offer at the end of April 2027.
