You can choose up to 6 schools to include in your application.
To help choose which schools to apply for, you should:
- use our online service to find schools to apply for
- search for open days at schools you're interested in
- read the admission rules for the schools you choose (so you know how your child’s application will be considered)
When adding schools to your child’s application, make sure you put them in the order you want them. The school you most want your child to attend should be number 1, followed by your next best option as number 2, and so on.
School transport
To be entitled for free school transport, you must include your nearest school, (as calculated by the free school transport checker) in your application. This is measured by the length of the journey to school.
Most children will not be entitled to free school transport, view your school transport options.
