Road improvements: countywide drainage scheme

Between 2016 and 2020 we spent £3.4 million on improving 97 sites, following the start of the Capital Drainage Programme in 2016.

A further £1 million was allocated for improvements between 2020 to 2021. This allowed us to work on an additional 30 schemes across Buckinghamshire.

In July 2021 we started a countywide drainage and gully clearance scheme with an additional budget of £4 million.

Buckinghamshire Highways has also been:

dealing with ditch capacity
making sure soak ways are sufficient
installing new gully systems
upgrading pipe sizes to increase capacity
