Taxi Working Group
The Taxi Working Group is made up of representatives from:
- the licensed taxi and private hire trade
- the council
- other organisations and stakeholders such as disability user groups and the police
Trade representatives are members of the licensed taxi and private hire trade from across the whole Buckinghamshire area.
The purpose of the Taxi Working Group is to ensure that information that relates to, or affects the licensed trade is communicated widely, issues are understood and explored, and that taxi licensing service improvement is ongoing.
Aims
The Taxi Working Group meets at least quarterly and aim to:
- encourage collaboration
- provide a means of communication and feedback between the council and the licensed trade via trade representatives and vice versa
- strengthen communication and feedback between other key organisations and user groups (for example Thames Valley Police or disability user groups) and the licensed trade representatives
Newsletters
Our taxi licensing team produce quarterly update newsletters for all licensed trade members. These are sent out via email or SMS.
