Retexturing is a preventative maintenance treatment that removes a thin layer from the road surface. This is to improve texture and skid resistance, helping to maintain safety and extend the life of the carriageway without the need for full resurfacing.

Structural maintenance work ongoing with the bridge lowered on the new bearings on the South side of the bridge, and work will also continue on the North Pier. These activities will be carried out beneath the bridge. To support the works, parking bays near Higginson Park and Pound Lane Car Park will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the project. |

As part of a countywide road-marking programme, School Keep Clear markings outside schools across Buckinghamshire will be refreshed. School Keep Clear markings are the yellow zig-zag markings located outside school entrances, helping to keep the area clear of parked vehicles and maintain visibility for pedestrians and road users. Works will take place at schools across Buckinghamshire during the summer holiday period to minimise disruption, including Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Chesham, Amersham, Beaconsfield, Wexham and various other schools across Buckinghamshire. Traffic management measures will vary depending on the site, but the works will mainly be carried out overnight so disruptions will be limited. |

As part of a countywide road-marking programme across Buckinghamshire, worn road markings will be refreshed and reinstated where required to help maintain visibility and safety for all road users. The programme includes the renewal of road markings such as centre lines, give way markings, road studs, high friction surfacing, lane markings and other carriageway markings that have deteriorated through normal wear and tear. Works will take place at various locations across Buckinghamshire, including Aylesbury, Buckingham, Beachampton, High Wycombe, Wing, Amersham and various other highly frequented roads across the county. Traffic management measures will vary depending on the site. Some road closures will be necessary to install the road-markings, however works will be carried out at night to avoid disruption where possible. |
| Pedestrian and Zebra Crossing Refresh Programme | Monday 7 to Friday 25 September |
Countywide refresh programme for highly trafficked pedestrian and zebra crossings. New MMA material being used will improve the quality and visibility of the crossings to improve safety. Crossings will be refreshed in Aylesbury, Chesham, Hazlemere, Chalfonts, Stoke Poges and various other locations Road closures will be used to carry out these works. Each closure will be in place for around 2 hours to allow the MMA material time to cure. |
Five points roundabout, Iver (From Monday 19 January to March 2027)
Traffic management for Five Points Roundabout is a single lane 1 closure on Uxbridge Road west bound (existing the roundabout.) and lane 2 closure on Uxbridge Road approaching the roundabout, either side and the inner ring of the Five Points Roundabout, with two way traffic still flowing. Also temporary 2-way lights on Wood Lane.
Some activities depend on weather conditions and dates may change at short notice.
