What is this strategy?
A four-year plan to ensure that every child in care in Buckinghamshire can access the right home, at the right time, with the right support - as close as possible to their community, school, and family.

- CLA forecast by 2030 (excl. UASC): 455 (↓ 18%)

Our 5 strategic objectives
- Grow Local Residential Capacity - 10 new Ofsted-registered homes, 36+ beds, reducing reliance on external provision
- Stabilise and Diversify Fostering - specialist, therapeutic, and culturally competent carers
- Improve 16+ Supported Accommodation - including 3 new council-owned properties and Staying Close
- Strengthen Edge of Care - integrated service to reduce entries into care and promote reunification
- Embed Integrated, Data-Led Commissioning - real-time dashboards, forecasting, and value-for-money delivery
