Obtaining references when recruiting drivers and passenger assistants

To meet the council's safer recruitment requirements, you must obtain references for all of your employees.

The Client Transport team will ask to see the references you obtained for drivers and passenger assistants when you apply for their Client Transport ID Badge.

To help transport operators with requesting references, we have created a template you can use to send to referees to complete and return to you.
