Get Ready to Read to the Beat this Summer!
The summer holidays are here, and that means the return of the Summer Reading Challenge at Buckinghamshire Libraries.
This year’s exciting theme is Read to the Beat!, inviting children to discover the amazing connection between reading and music. From stories filled with song and rhythm to books about musicians, performers and creative expression, there's something for every young reader to enjoy.
The Summer Reading Challenge is free to join and is designed to encourage children to keep reading throughout the school holidays. Whether your child is an avid reader or just starting their reading journey, the challenge offers a fun and rewarding way to explore books, spark imagination and build confidence.
Why take part?
By joining the Summer Reading Challenge, children can:

Children can sign up at their local Buckinghamshire Library and choose any books they would like to read. Every book counts, whether it's fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, audiobooks or eBooks.
