Request a smaller or larger bin

Request a different sized bin if your current bin is too big or too small.

If you're applying for a larger bin, you may need to provide supporting evidence as part of your application.

You can apply for a larger general waste bin if any of the following apply:

• there are 5 or more permanent residents in your household (you'll need to provide a passport or driving licence for household members over the age of 16)
• there are at least 2 children in nappies (you'll need to provide a passport or birth certificate for each child)
• someone in the household has a medical condition that produces extra waste (ask your GP or community nurse to complete the larger bin for medical reasons form PDF, 150 KB)

The largest bin available is 240 litres.

Smaller bins are available to all households.

Request a different sized bin

If your request is approved we'll deliver your new bin within 10 working days.

We'll collect your old bin at the same time. Make sure you leave your old bin at the boundary of your property.

If your old bin wasn't collected, request a bin removal.
