The advice service includes:
- 1 to 2 hours of desk-based research and report
- written response within 20 working days of receipt
The cost, including VAT is:
- £266 for minor schemes (1 to 9 dwellings or development is under 1,000sqm)
- £355 for major schemes (10 or more dwellings or development 1,000sqm or more)
Additional time is £177.45 per hour.
Service includes:
- 1-hour site visit
- confirmation of sign-off normally provided within one day of site visit
- additional time charged at hourly increments, hourly rate of £177.45
Fee: £266 (including VAT)

This service is to be used by applicants or their contractors to request review and approval of written schemes of investigation (WSI) and fieldwork reports.

- desk-based review of one WSI and one fieldwork report
- written advice within 20 working days of receipt of each document

- £355 for major schemes (10 or more dwellings or development 1,000sqm or more)

Standard searches are those involving no more than 50 monument records or updates of a search undertaken within the past 5 years.
Extended searches are those involving 51 to 150 monument records.
VAT is not payable on HER searches.
Charge:
- £72 for standard search
- £218 for extended search area
- unusually large/complex searches to be individually costed
Printing/photocopying charge:
- £0.11 per sheet
Licence for reproduction of images charge:
- Buckinghamshire Archive rates apply
VAT is not payable on HER searches.
