When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Tuesday 30 June 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Monday 10 to Sunday 30 November, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus route 53 will divert missing the stops on Park Road.

When: Wednesday 19 November to Thursday 27 November, 9am to 7pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 16 will need to divert between Grendon Road, Edgcott and Calvert (via Marsh Gibbon). The Village Hall stops in Edgcott will be missed and due to the lengthy diversion, delays can be expected during this time.

Between Tuesday 25 and Thursday 27 November the junction between Cotswolds Way and Perry Hill will also be closed off between these times affecting the routes in Calvert Green. Route 18 will be turning after serving the Community Hall stops, missing the Cotswolds Way stops. Bus route 16 will divert via Brackley Lane, missing the stops on Cotswolds Way. Passengers are advised to wait, where safe, on Brackley Lane, near the junction of Cotswolds Way and hail to the drivers to stop.

Please note the afternoon school time 1550 journey from Aylesbury will be granted access through the closures.

When: Saturday 22 to Sunday 30 November, 9.15pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Highfield Road and Thomas Freemantle School. Bus route X60 will divert missing stops on Buckingham Road and the High Street. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Sheep Street instead.

When: Saturdays 22, 29 November and 6 December

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus routes B1, B2 and B12 will miss stops in Water Statford, Westbury and Turweston on these days.

When: Monday 24 to Friday 28 November, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 130 and 300 will divert via Oxford Road and Churchill Avenue missing stops on Walton Street, Stoke Road and Mandeville Road.

When: Monday 24 November to Tuesday 2 December

What: This road is closed for emergency work works by Thames Water. Bus routes 108, 110 and 111 will divert impacting the following areas:

• Chearsley Village will not be served during these times.
• In Cuddington, buses will miss the stops on The Green and will instead serve the stops on Dadbrook - please note this will be the opposite side of the road than usual (Northbound for journeys towards Aylesbury, Southbound for journeys towards Thame).
• Stops on Chearsley Road in Long Crendon will be missed.

When: Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 November

What: This road is closed for urgent works by Affinity Water. Buses will need to divert missing all stops in Penn Street and Winchmore Hill.

When: Thursday 27 November, 12pm to 10pm

What: Due to a Christmas event part of the High Street will be closed and the bus stand will not be served. For routes 80 and B4 passengers are advised to use the Market Hill stops on Moreton Road. Bus route X5 will serve the Tesco stop on London Road only. For all other routes please use the Chandos Road stops on London Road.

When: Thursday 27 November, 3pm to 10pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Route 50 and 70 buses will need to divert missing the stops on Burleys Road and Vicarage Road.

When: Friday 28 November to Tuesday 2 December, 7.30am to 7pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. The route 16 journey based on Charndon Main Street stop at 1353 will divert and serve the Recreation Ground stop instead. Please note these works will start only once the Perry Hill, Edgcott works are completed.

When: Saturday 29 November, 7.30am to 7pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Bus route 105 will divert missing the stops on Sycamore Road.

When: Saturday 29 November, 9am to 9pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Buses will divert missing the stop on the High Street. Passengers are advised to use the stops on New Road instead.

When: Monday 1 to Wednesday 3 December, 9.30am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for cabling works. Bus route 105 will divert missing all stops on Magpie Lane.

When: Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 December, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 1 will divert missing all stops on Botley Road.

When: Wednesday 3 December, 5pm to 9.15pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Buses will miss all stops on Aylesbury End, Station Road and Maxwell Road and divert as follows:

• Route 31 will divert via Ledborough Lane, then Amersham Road, London End, and turn at the Saracens Head roundabout. In the old town passengers are advised to use the eastbound Saracens Head stop located on London End. Passengers from the Post Office or Waitrose stops are advised to use the stops on Ledborough Lane nearest the junction with Penn Road.
• Route 102 will divert via London End serving the Saracens Head and Cricket Ground stops only.
• Routes 103, 104 and 105 will divert via London End, Park Lane and Amersham Road with route 103 resuming normal route at the Wilton Park stops on the Beaconsfield Eastern Relief Road; and the 104 and 105 resuming normal route on the Amersham Road. In the old town these buses will serve the Saracens Head stops.

When: Wednesday 3 December, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 54C will divert missing Middle Claydon village.

When: Thursday 4 December, 1.30pm to 10pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Bus routes 156, 158 and 160 will divert and passengers are advised to use the stop at Court Garden Leisure Centre instead.

When: Thursday 4 to Tuesday 16 December

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Buses will divert as follows:

• Route 16 (on journeys which serve Twyford and Marsh Gibbon only) will divert from Calvert via Main Road, Charndon and Marsh Gibbon. From Marsh Gibbon the bus will travel up to the Crown PH in Twyford to serve Twyford and Poundon and then turn back. The stops on Portway Road and the Charndon Recreation Ground stops will be missed.
• Route 18 will divert via Main Road Charndon resuming normal route in Marsh Gibbon. All stops in Twyford, Poundon and the Charndon Recreation Ground stops will be missed.

When: Friday 5 December, 12pm to 10pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Bus routes 1, 1A, 1B and 1S will divert missing the stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.

When: Friday 5 December, 12pm to 11pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Bus routes 20, 36 and 624 will divert missing the stops on The Parade and the Loddon Road stop on Blind Lane (route 36 will also miss the New Road stops on Cores End Lane. Passengers are advised to use the Railway Station stops instead.

When: Friday 5 December, 4.30pm to 9.30pm

What: Due to a Christmas event this road will be closed. Buses will divert via Kingsway, Lowe Road and the High Street where passengers are advised to hail to the driver to board near Mr Crusty's takeaway. Stops on Market Place, Gold Hill North, Nicol Road, Grove Lane, Gold Hill West and Austenwood Lane will be missed at these times.

When: Saturdays 6 and 13 December

What: This road is closed for works by City Fibre. Bus route 581 will divert missing the stops on Village Road and Old Mill Road.

When: Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 300 will divert via Wendover Road missing stops on Stoke Road, Mandeville Road, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Lower Road and Station Road.

Instead a shuttle service will operate between the St Mary's Church stops on Station Road and Aylesbury Bus Station via Lower Road and the Hospital. Passengers can change at the Bus Station for 130 and 300 connections to Princes Risborough and High Wycombe.
