Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday (only) and are subject to change.

If your bus service is not listed and you think it's disrupted, contact your bus operator.

During flooding, snow and icy conditions, buses can be delayed, diverted or cancelled at short notice.

Check the website or social media channels for the relevant bus company before travelling.

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Tuesday 30 June 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 March, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by City Fibre. Bus route 581 will divert missing the stops on Cheapside Lane and the Denham Avenue stop on the Oxford Road.

When: Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Affinity Water. Bus route 31 will run between High Wycombe and The Pond stop in Tylers Green only, and will therefore be unable to serve stops in Knotty Green or Beaconsfield on these days.

When: Monday 2 to Thursday 19 March, 8am to 5pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. The Tuesday only bus route 167 will divert missing Ledburn and Mentmore.

When: Tuesday 3 to Tuesday 10 March

What: This road has been closed for emergency Cadent Gas repairs. Bus routes 103, 583 and X74 will need to divert missing stops on Beaconsfield Road between Park Road and One Pin Lane.

When: Wednesday 4 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Openreach. Bus route 1B will divert missing all stops on Berkhamstead Road, Nashleigh Hill and Lycrome Road.

When: Wednesday 4 March, 7am to 5pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Buses will have access to the main bus station all night, but stops G1 and G2 in Great Western Street (the tunnel outside the bus station) will not be accessible at these times. Services 2E, 4A, 4E and 14E will depart from the following bays instead:

• 2E will depart from Bay 10
• 4A and 4E will depart from Bay 6
• 14 will depart from Bay 4

When: Monday 9 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus routes 16 and 18 will turn after serving The Crown stop in Twyford and divert via Charndon to Marsh Gibbon, missing stops on Bicester Road, Twyford and the Poundon Turn stops.

When: Tuesday 10 and Friday 13 March

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus route 380 will turn at Seeleys Road missing the Village Centre stop in Forty Green. Passengers can catch the bus outside Knotty Green Recreation Ground.

When: Thursday 12 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 41 will divert missing stops on Stag Lane and The Common. Passengers can use stops on Missenden Road or Heath End Road instead.

When: Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 37 will divert missing all stops on Abbey Barn Road and Kingsmead Road.

When: Thursday 12 to Thursday 19 March, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 850 will divert missing stops on Oxford Road, Queen's Road and Dean Street.

When: Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March

What: This road is closed for works by EU Networks. Bus routes 107 and WP1 will divert as follows:

• Route 107 will divert via Wexham Street missing all stops on Grays Park Road, Bells Hill and Hollybush Hill.
• Route WP1 will divert via Wexham Road and Shaggy Calf Road missing stops on Stoke Green and on Stoke Road between Stoke Green and Shaggy Calf Road.

When: Sunday 15 March, 8am to 5.30pm

What: Due to a monthly market this road will be closed. Bus routes 1 and 1A will divert missing stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.
