Bus service disruptions and stop closures

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Tuesday 30 June 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

What: This road has been closed for emergency Anglian Water repairs. Buses will divert missing all stops in Edlesborough and on the High Street in Eaton Bray.

When: Monday 26 January to Sunday 8 February, 7pm to 7am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 1, 1A, 1B and 101 will divert as follows:

• No buses will be able to serve the stops on Hill Avenue and will call at the stops on Chiltern Avenue instead.
• Route 1 will divert via Station Road, Chiltern Avenue, Woodside Road and Rickmansworth Road missing stops on London Road West, Stanley Hill, Woodside Road, Hill Avenue and Chesham Road
• Route 1A and 1B will divert via Chiltern Avenue, Woodside Road and Rickmansworth Road missing stops on Hill Avenue and Chesham Road
• Route 101 journeys will start and finish on Chiltern Avenue

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 53 will divert via Stomp Road missing stops on Lent Rise Road, Gore Road, Britwell Road and Hogfair Road.

When: Thursday 29 January to Wednesday 4 February

What: This road is closed for emergency repairs by Thames Water. Bus route 611 is on diversion missing the stops between Little Kimble and Bishopstone.

When: Thursday 29 January to Friday 6 February

What: This road is closed for emergency repairs by Thames Water. Bus routes 106 and 107 will divert missing stops on Copthall Lane and Denham Lane. The nearest alternative stops are on Rickmansworth Lane or the Amersham Road.

When: Monday 2 and Friday 6 February, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 15, 63 and 68 will need to divert turning in Eton Wick and missing stops in Dorney and Dorney Reach.

When: Tuesday 3 to Monday 9 February, 7pm to 7am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 130 will divert missing all Wycombe Road stops between Bradenham Wood Lane and Woodways near Princes Risborough.

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 190 will divert missing the stops on King's Lane. Passengers are advised to wait by the junction on Ballinger Road and hail to the driver to stop.

What: This road is closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus route 163 will divert missing the stops in Ivinghoe Aston.

When: Thursday 5 and Friday 6 February, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 27 will divert missing the stops on Rayners Avenue and Robinson Road.

When: Thursday 5 and Friday 6 February, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 850 will divert missing stops on Oxford Road, Queen's Road and Dean Street.

When: Monday 9 to Saturday 14 February, 8pm to 5am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between the Parkway Station roundabout and Kingswood. Bus route 4E will divert missing the Sir Henry Lee Crescent stop on the Bicester Road and the stop on Paradise Orchard between John Fitzjohn Avenue and the Bicester Road.

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 6 will need to divert missing the stops on Grove Lane.

When: Wednesday 11 to Thursday 19 February, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Ellen Road and Mandeville Road. The last round route 9 trip (1955 from Aylesbury Bus Station and 2015 from Stoke Mandeville Hospital) will run between town and Orwell Drive in Hawkslade only.

When: Friday 13 February, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 130 will divert between High Wycombe and Bradenham Wood Lane, missing all stops on the West Wycombe Road and Bradenham Road.

When: from 7pm on Friday 13 February to 6am on Monday 23 February

What: This road will be closed for works on the new South East Aylesbury Link Road between the Elm Farm Estate and Hampden Hall. Buses will divert as follows:

• Route 50 will run between Aylesbury and the Elm Farm Estate as normal, then divert via Bedgrove, the A41 and New Road and Main Street in Weston Turville resuming normal route on Worlds End Lane. Route 50 buses towards Aylesbury will stop directly outside the Chandos pub.
• Route 55, 55A and 55B will divert via Mandeville Road and Station Road in Stoke Mandeville missing all stops in Elm Farm and Wendover Road.

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus routes 31 and 380 will divert via Ledborough Lane, Sandelswood End and Knottocks Drive missing the stops near Seeleys Road.

When: Saturday 14 to Sunday 22 February

What: This road is closed for works by UKPN. Bus route 190 will divert via Potter Row and King's Lane, missing stops in Ballinger Road in South Heath, Ballinger Village and Lee Common.

When: Sunday 15 February, 8am to 5.30pm

What: Due to a monthly market this road will be closed. Bus routes 1 and 1A will divert missing the stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.
