Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday (only) and are subject to change.

During Public Holidays most bus companies in Buckinghamshire will operate their Sunday timetables. Bus services which do not operate on Sundays will not run. Please double check with your company before travel:

Summer Bank Holiday - Monday 31 August

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Friday 28 August 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Friday 17 July to Thursday 3 September

What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus routes 79 and 79A will divert via Eskdale Avenue and Broad Street missing the stops on White Hill and the Codmore Cross stop on Eskdale Avenue.

When: Thursday 23 July to Friday 4 September

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways, east of Place Farm Way junction. Buses will divert missing the stops near to the Risborough Road junction.

When: Wednesday 5 August to Wednesday 2 September

What: This road will be closed for emergency water main repair works. Buses will divert via Bangors Road South missing all stops on Swallow Street and Norwood Road.

When: Monday 10 August to Wednesday 9 September

What: These roads will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways at different times and route 380 will divert as per the below information.

Between 10 and 16 August the buses will divert via Cherry Tree Road missing Mayflower Way.

Between 17 and 23 August the buses will divert via the A40 Wycombe End missing stops on Mayflower Way and Cherry Tree Road

Between 24 August and 9 September the buses will serve Mayflower Way only missing Cherry Tree Road.

When: Monday 10 to Thursday 27 August

What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus routes 101, 104, 106 and 107 will divert missing the stops on Nicol Road and Grove Lane.

When: Monday 17 to Thursday 27 August, 7am to 7pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Buses will divert via Horn Street and the High Street missing stops on Burleys Road and Vicarage Road.

When: Monday 17 to Friday 28 August

What: This road will be closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus route B4 will divert missing stops on Duck Lane.

When: Monday 17 August to Thursday 3 September

What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus routes 106 and 107 will divert missing the stops on Copthall Lane.

When: Monday 24 to Friday 28 August

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route B5 will divert missing the stop on Thornhill. Passengers are advised to use the stop on The Green instead.

When: Wednesday 26 August

What: This road will be closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus routes B1 and B2 will divert missing the Post Office stops on Main Street, Gawcott. Passengers are advised to use Village Hall stops on Buckingham Road instead

When: Wednesday 26 August to Friday 4 September, 7am to 7pm (except the Bank Holiday weekend)

What: These road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways in the following stages affecting routes 7, 7A and 7B

Cam Mead, 26 and 27 August - Buses will still serve the Long Meadow stop missing Cam Mead only

Long Meadow, 28 August to 4 September - Buses will be unable to serve Cam Mead and Long Meadow stops.

Passengers are advised to use the stops on the main Bedgrove road or on Camborne Avenue.

When: Wednesday 26 August, 9am to 7pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 15 will turn in Eton Bray missing stops the stops in Dorney.

When: Monday 31 August, 4am to 2pm

What: The Bus Station will be closed for deep cleaning. All buses will depart from Great Western Street - the tunnel just outside the Bus Station instead. Passengers are advised to catch the bus from there or if possible other served stops around the town such as Exchange Street, High Street or Friarage Road (for routes using Oxford Road).

When: Tuesday 1 September to Monday 9 November

What: Due to works by Anglian Water this road will be closed. Bus routes 60 and 60A will be unable to serve stops between Granborough and Winslow. Instead a temporary timetable will run with buses turning round in Granborough village centre, at Hogshaw Road between 1 September and 5 October and Green End between 5 October and 9 November.

During this period passengers in Granborough, North Marston and Oving who are travelling towards Winslow and Buckingham will need to use the stops on the opposite side of the road than normal (towards Whitchurch).

What: Due to works by Buckinghamshire Highways this road will be closed. Bus routes 103 and X74 will divert via Parish Lane and One Pin Lane missing the Clare Drive stops only.

When: Tuesday 1 September, 8pm to 6am

What: Due to works by Buckinghamshire Highways this road will be closed. Bus route 14E will need to divert missing stops on Cleveland Road, Dunsham Lane and Buckingham Road.

When: Tuesday 1 September, 8pm to 6am

What: Due to works by Buckinghamshire Highways this road will be closed. Bus routes 50, 130 and 300 will divert missing the stops on Walton Street near Brewery Close.

When: Friday 4 September, 9am to 3.30pm

What: Due to works by Openreach this road will be closed. Bus route 112 will need to divert missing stops on Waddesdon Hill, Ashendon, Upper Winchendon and Wotton Underwood.

When: Saturday 5 September, 4pm to midnight

What: Due to an event in the Square buses will need to divert via Coldharbour Way missing stops on Pine Street, Hampden Street, Wedgewood Street and the stop on Great Meadow Way adjacent to Woodmans Croft
