Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday only and are subject to change.

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April to Sunday 1 February

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Monday 27 October to Wednesday 12 November

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Mursley and Drayton Parslow. For most of this period bus route 50 will divert between Main Street in Mursley and Drayton Parslow, missing the Richmond Lodge and Merrymead stops only.

However, the junction at Main Street, Drayton Parslow will be additionally closed on Friday 31 October, Monday 3 November and Monday 10 November, on these days route 50 will unfortunately be unable to serve Drayton Parslow and will miss all stops between Main Street in Mursley and Newton Longville.

Please note that due to the long diversion some delay to the bus service can be expected during this period.

When: Monday 27 October to Friday 7 November

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 163 will divert missing the stops in Ivinghoe Aston.

When: Monday 3 to Saturday 15 November, 9pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 10 will divert via Churchill Avenue missing all stops on Hannon Road, Ellen Road, Orwell Drive and Anton Way.

When: Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 November, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus routes 153 and 154 will divert missing the stops in Cublington, Aston Abbotts and the stops on Aston Abbotts Road in Weedon.

When: Saturday 8 November

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus routes B1, B2 and B12 will miss stops in Water Statford, Westbury and Turweston on these days.

When: Sunday 9 November, midnight to 1.30pm

What: Due to Remembrance Sunday events buses will be unable to serve stops on Oxford Street, Frogmoor, High Street, Castle Street or Queen Victoria Road during this time. Please use the Bus Station instead.

Services 31 and 33 journeys travelling from High Wycombe will divert via Abbey Way. London Road, Gordon Road and Bowerdean Road. As such they will not serve the Railway Station, Duke Street & Lucas Road stops on Totteridge Road. The nearest served stops are at Bowerdean Crossroads. Please note buses travelling into town will divert via Easton Street and Abbey Way and can serve these stops as normal.

Services 1 and 1A journeys travelling from High Wycombe will divert via Hughenden Road and Hamilton Road. As such they will not serve the Maybrook Gardens or Amersham Hill Drive stops. The nearest served stop is the Royal Grammar School. Please note buses travelling into town will serve these stops as usual.

When: Sunday 9 November, 6.15am to 12.30pm

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event buses will be unable to serve Bay G1 and G2 stops on Great Western Street (the tunnel just outside the Bus Station). Buses will be moved to the main bus station (bays to be confirmed).

When: Sunday 9 November, 7am to 1pm

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event buses will be unable to serve the bus stand on the High Street or Stratford Road. For the 60 and X60 please use the Chandos Road stops on the London Road. Service X5 will serve the Tesco stop only.

When: Sunday 9 November, 9am to 1pm

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event buses will be unable to serve the High Street. Passengers are advised to use the stops on New Road instead.

When: Sunday 9 November, 10am to noon

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event bus route 104 will be unable to serve stops in Seer Green on these times and will divert via Jordans.

When: Sunday 9 November, 10am to 12.30pm

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event bus route 104 will be unable to serve stops in Chalfont St Giles at these times. Buses will divert via Narcot Lane.

When: Sunday 9 November, 2.10pm to 3.30pm

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event bus route 104 will be unable to serve stops on Market Place, Nicol Road, Gravel Lane, Gold Hill West and Austenwood Lane during this period.

When: Sunday 9 November, 10.40am to 11.30am

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event buses will be unable to serve the stops on The Broadway at these times.

When: Sunday 9 November, 10am to 12.30pm

What: Due to the Remembrance Sunday event bus route 501 will be unable to serve stops in Aston Clinton at these times.

When: Monday 10 to Friday 14 November, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 110 will divert and passengers are advised of the following:

• Chearsley Village will not be served during these times.
• In Cuddington, buses will miss the stops on The Green and will instead serve the stops on Dadbrook - please note this will be the opposite side of the road than usual (Northbound for journeys towards Aylesbury, Southbound for journeys towards Thame)
• Stops on Chearsley Road in Long Crendon will be missed.

When: Monday 10 to Sunday 30 November, 9am to 3pm

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus route 53 will divert missing the stops on Park Road.

When: Tuesday 11 November, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 165 will miss the stop on Church Street during this time. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Winslow Road instead.

When: Tuesday 11 November, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 133 will miss stops in Preston Bissett on this day.

When: Saturday 15 November

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus routes B1, B2 and B12 will miss stops in Water Statford, Westbury and Turweston on these days.

When: Saturday 15 November, 6am to midnight

What: Due to the Christmas Lights event buses will not be able to serve stops on Castle Street, Oxford Street, Frogmoor or the High Street. Passengers are advised to use the Bus Station during this day.

When: Sunday 16 November, 8am to 5.30pm

What: Due to a monthly market, this road will be closed. Bus routes 1 and 1A will divert missing stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.
