Bus service disruptions and stop closures

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Tuesday 30 June 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Thursday 4 to Tuesday 16 December

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Buses will divert as follows:

• Route 16 (on journeys which serve Twyford and Marsh Gibbon only) will divert from Calvert via Main Road, Charndon and Marsh Gibbon. From Marsh Gibbon the bus will travel up to the Crown PH in Twyford to serve Twyford and Poundon and then turn back. The stops on Portway Road and the Charndon Recreation Ground stops will be missed.
• Route 18 will divert via Main Road Charndon resuming normal route in Marsh Gibbon. All stops in Twyford, Poundon and the Charndon Recreation Ground stops will be missed.

When: Saturdays 6 and 13 December

What: This road is closed for works by City Fibre. Bus route 581 will divert missing the stops on Village Road and Old Mill Road.

When: Friday 12 December, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 15 and 68 will divert missing all stops on Marsh Lane and Court Lane.

When: Friday 12 to Monday 15 December, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 331 will divert missing all stops between Wigan's Lane and Haw Lane

When: Friday 12 to Monday 15 December, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 190 will divert missing stops on Oxford Street, Lee Clump Road and Red Lion Hill.

When: Saturday 13 December, 9.30am to 3pm

What: Due to a Christmas event all buses will need to divert. Stops on Market Hill, the High Street and the Chandos Road and Upper School stops on London Road will be missed.

Passengers are advised that:

• For services 18, 60, B1, B2, B12, B3 and X6 passengers can wait or alight on London Road, outside the school, between Bourtonville and Bernadines Way.
• Service B4 will operate between Maids Moreton and Overn Avenue only
• Service X5 will serve the Tesco stop on London Road only.

When: Sunday 21 December, 8am to 5.30pm

What: Due to a monthly market this road will be closed. Buses 1 and 1A will divert missing stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.
