Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday (only) and are subject to change.

During the following Public Holidays most bus companies in Buckinghamshire will operate their Sunday timetables. Bus services which do not operate on Sundays will not run. Please double check with your company before travel:

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April 2025 to Tuesday 30 June 2026

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Monday 13 April to Friday 15 May

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Bridge Street and the High Street. All buses will divert as follows:

• Bus route 18 and 133 will divert via the bypass serving the High Street via Stratford Road. This service will miss the stops on London Road during this time.
• Bus route 60 will run as normal to the Chandos Road stops on London Road, then divert via Bourton Road, entering and exiting the High Street via Stratford Road. All stops will be served.
• Bus routes 134, B1, B2, B3, B5, B12, X6 and X60 will divert between the High Street and London Road, via Moreton Road, Western Avenue and West Street. All stops will be served.
• Bus route X5 will enter and exit the High Street via Stratford Road, missing no stops.

When: Monday 20 April to Sunday 23 August

What: This road is closed for utility works. Bus route 53 will divert via Cumberland Avenue and Northern Road, missing the Stoke Park stops on Park Road. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Farnham Lane instead.

When: Monday 27 April to Saturday 23 May

What: this road is closed for works by HS2. Service 112 buses will divert via Westcott and Waddesdon missing the stops in Upper Winchendon.

When: Thursday 30 April to Thursday 7 May

What: this road is closed for work by Anglian Water. Service 50 buses will divert via Nash Road, A421 and Shucklow Hill

When: Friday 1 to Friday 15 May, 7pm to 7am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 130 will divert via Lacey Green and Walters Ash. As such stops on the Wycombe Road between Woodway in Princes Risborough and Bradenham Wood Lane will be missed at these times.

When: Tuesday 5 May, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 108 will divert missing stops in Boarstall on this day.

When: Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 May, 8.30pm to 5am (2 nights)

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 300 will divert via the bypass missing all stops in Stoke Mandeville.

When: Tuesday 5 to Saturday 9 May, 8pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 850 will run between High Wycombe and Oxford Road in Marlow as normal, then turn to divert via the A404 and A4130 resuming normal route on Hart Street in Henley. Stops between Oxford Road in Marlow and Hart Street in Henley will be missed.

When: Tuesday 5 to Monday 11 May, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 15, 63 and 68 will turn in Eaton Wick missing all stops in Dorney and Dorney Reach.

When: Wednesday 6 May, 8.30am to 5.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 112 will divert missing stops on Waddesdon Hill and Upper Winchendon.

When: Friday 8 to Sunday 10 May, 8pm to 6am (3 nights)

What: This road is closed for works by National Highways. Bus routes 103 and X74 will divert missing all stops between Beaconsfield and Templewood Lane in Farnham Common.

When: Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May, 10pm to 5am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Services will divert and passengers advised to use the Bus Station at these times.

When: from 4pm on Sunday 10 May to 6.30am on Tuesday 12 May

What: Due to the Charter Fair, all buses will divert missing stops on Aylesbury End, London End and Wycombe End (to the junction with Butlers Court Road).

For services 102, 103, 104, 105, 604, 624 and BB12 please use the Candlemas Lane stops on Station Road.

Bus route 31 will start and finish from the Post Office stops on Station Road.
