Bus service disruptions and stop closures

When: Monday 21 October 2024 to Monday 8 September 2025

What: In addition to the current long term closure of School Hill, Calvert; Gawcott Road, Calvert will also be closed during the above period for HS2 works. As such routes 16 and 18 will be diverting and while all stops will be served delays are likely.

When: Monday 27 January until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Monday 28 April to Monday 1 September

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus route 16 will enter and leave Quainton via Blackgrove Road, serving Quainton between Aylesbury and Waddesdon. Passengers are advised that buses travelling towards Aylesbury will serve stops in Waddesdon up to 10 minutes earlier than usual. Buses from Quainton towards Steeple Claydon will serve stops up to 10 minutes earlier.

When: Friday 25 July to Sunday 31 August

What: This road is closed for works by Thames Water. Bus routes 106 and 107 will divert missing the stops on Copthall Lane and Denham Lane. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Rickmansworth Lane or the Amersham Road instead.

When: Friday 25 July to Monday 1 September

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Buses will divert missing all stops on Magpie Lane.

When: Friday 1 August to Monday 1 September

What: This road is closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus route 377 will be unable to serve Forty Green Village during this period.

When: Monday 11 to Thursday 21 August, 7pm to 6am

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways between Walton Road and Oakfield Road. Bus routes 61, 500, X500 and 501 will divert via Stocklake and Oakfield Road missing stops on the High Street and Tring Road as far as Oakfield Road.

When: Monday 11 to Thursday 21 August

What: This road is closed for works by Thames Water. Stops in Chilton and Easington will not be served during this time.

When: Monday 18 August to Wednesday 3 September 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Buses will divert via Ledborough Lane, missing all stops on Maxwell Road.

When: Monday 18 to Thursday 21 August, 7pm to 6am.

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 103 and X74 will divert missing stops between Templewood Lane and Park Road.

When: Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 August

What: This road is closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 112 will divert missing Ford.

When: Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 August

What: This road is closed for works by UKPN. Bus route 163 will divert missing the Icknield Way stops.

When: Wednesday 20 August to Sunday 7 September

What: This road is closed for works by HS2. Bus routes 130 and 300 will divert via Nash Lee Road, Wendover Road and Station Road. Stops between Terrick Crossroads and Station Road will be missed. Passengers in Stoke Mandeville are advised to use marked temporary stops by the church on Station Road.

When: Thursday 21 August, 9am to 4pm

What: This road is closed for works by the National Grid. Bus route 50 will miss all stops on Westbrook End and Whaddon Road.

When: Thursday 21 and Friday 22 August

What: This road is closed for works by Anglian Water. Bus route 165 will divert via the High Street missing the stops on Stewkley Road.

When: Saturday 23 to Sunday 31 August

What: This road is closed for works by Thames Water. Bus route 112 will divert missing the stops on Waddesdon Hill and Upper Winchendon.

When: Sunday 24 August, 7am to 4pm

What: The bus station will be closed on this day for works by Friars Square management. All buses will depart from stops G1 or G2 on Great Western Street (the tunnel between Friarage Road and Market Square).
