Bus service disruptions and stop closures

These are updated Monday to Friday (only) and are subject to change.

When: Ongoing until further notice

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus route 133 will divert missing stops in Chetwode.

When: Tuesday 1 September to Monday 9 November

What: Due to works by Anglian Water this road will be closed. Bus routes 60 and 60A will be unable to serve stops between Granborough and Winslow. Instead a temporary timetable will run with buses turning round in Granborough village centre, at Hogshaw Road between 1 September and 5 October and Green End between 5 October and 9 November.

During this period passengers in Granborough, North Marston and Oving who are travelling towards Winslow and Buckingham will need to use the stops on the opposite side of the road than normal (towards Whitchurch).

When: Monday 7 September to Saturday 10 October

What: This road will be closed for works by Cadent Gas. Bus routes 32, 32A and 33 will divert missing the Cedar Terrace stops on Desborough Road, stops on Green Street and the Oakridge Road and Half Moon PH stops on Dashwood Avenue.

When: Monday 14 September to Friday 9 October

What: This road will be closed for works by UKPN. Risborough Area Community Bus route 6 will divert missing the stops on Crowbrook Road.

When: Saturday 19 September, Saturday 26 September and Saturday 3 October

What: This road will be closed for works by HS2. Bus routes B1, B2 and B12 will divert missing all stops in Water Stratford, Brackley and Turweston on this day.

When: Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 September

What: This road has been closed for emergency Affinity Water repairs. Bus routes 1, 78 and 79 are diverting as follows:

• Route 1 will divert via White Hill missing stops on Broad Street and Eskdale Avenue
• Route 78 and 79 travel as normal to Manor Way then turn right onto Eskdale Avenue missing the Codmore Cross stop on Eskdale Avenue and Grammar School stop on White Hill.

When: Wednesday 30 September, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Openreach. Bus routes 61 and 163 will divert as follows:

• Route 61 will divert via Icknield Way and Harling Road missing all stops in Edlesborough. Passengers are advised to wait where safe on Leighton Road near the junction of the High Street or on the Bower Lane junction with Moor Street and hail to the driver to stop.
• Route 163 will serve Eaton Bray as normal then miss Edlesborough travelling direct to Northall

When: Friday 2 to Monday 12 October, 7am to 7pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes B1, B2 and 134 will turn at Mill Lane missing the Fulwell Road stops. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Main Street instead.

When: Sunday 4 October, 10pm to 4am

What: Due to works on the Eden Shopping Centre buses will be unable to access the Bus Station on this night. Bus routes 102 and 103 will instead start and finish on Queen Alexandra Road near the Hospital. Bus route 850 will start and finish at the stop on Bridge Street opposite The Phoenix.

When: Monday 5 October, 9.30am to 3pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Openreach. Bus route 130 will divert via the A4010 Risborough Road missing stops on Chalkshire Road and Ellesborough Road.

When: Monday 5 to Friday 23 October, 7pm to 6am

What: This road will be closed between Dunsham Lane and Elmhurst Road for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus routes 6A and X60 will divert via Dunsham Lane and Elmhurst Road missing the New Zealand PH and Whaddon Chase stops.

When: Monday 12 October, 9.30am to 3.30pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Openreach. The 1353 journey at Main Street will instead serve the Recreation Ground stop instead.

When: Tuesday 13 October, 9am to 3pm

What: This road will be closed for works by Buckinghamshire Highways. Bus route 110 will divert via Dadbrook and the A418, Aylesbury Road affecting the following stops:

• In Cuddington buses will divert via Aylesbury Road and Dadbrook missing the stops on The Green. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Dadbrook instead, please use the stop opposite from that which you normally would as the direction in Cuddington will be reversed.
• Chearsley Village will not be served.
• In Long Crendon stops on Chearsley Road will not be served.

When: from 6am Friday 16 October to 10am Sunday 18 October and

from 6am Friday 23 October to 10am Sunday 25 October

What: Due to the Charter Fair these roads will be closed on these weekends. All bus routes will divert missing the main bus stand on the High Street and Market Hill stops on Moreton Road. Passengers are advised to use the following stops instead:

• For services 18, 60, 60A, 80, 83, B1, B2, B3, B5, B12, X6 and X60 please use the Chandos Road stops on London Road
• Bus route 80 will additionally miss stops on Stratford Road and Bourton Meadow School.
• Bus route B3 will additionally miss the stops on Bourtonville.
• For service B4 towards Akeley and Maids Moreton please use the northbound Western Avenue stop on Moreton Road. This route will additionally miss the stops on Overn Avenue. Passengers towards town can alight either on Western Avenue or on Moreton Road, just before the junction with Western Avenue.
• Service X5 will serve the London Road ‘Tesco’ stop only

When: Sunday 18 October, 8am to 5.30pm

What: Due to a monthly market this road will be closed. Buses will divert via Gore Hill missing stops on The Broadway, Whielden Street and the Hospital stops on Whielden Lane.
