Apply for a Council Tax exemption if all occupants are under 18 years old
You are exempt from Council Tax if the property is occupied by either one person under 18 years old or a number of people who are all under 18 years old.
Once one occupant becomes 18 years old, they would become liable for the Council Tax (unless any other discounts or exemptions apply).
Information required
As part of your application, you will need to tell us the:
- names of all occupiers
- dates of birth of all occupiers
