16. Appendix A – Examples of compliments
- Waste - "I am so impressed with the food waste collection team. Without fail they always put the bin back with either lid on or on its side so that it doesn't fill up with rain water. Also the bin is always replaced in original position, so I don't have to look for it. Please pass on my compliments."
- Customer Service Centre - "Exceptionally helpful lady who helped me with my garden waste renewal fee. I am most impressed and appreciative!"
- Adoption & Fostering Service - "I wanted to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support throughout this journey. The road to adopting X was, as you know, a challenging and often stressful process, but your guidance and understanding made it so much easier to navigate. I truly don't know what I would have done without you! You were a rock for me, and I will forever be grateful for your kindness and expertise."
- Occupational Therapy - "Customer said that everyone in Occupational therapy has done a very great service for x and they would like to thank the team who provided x with equipment and made her last few days more comfortable."
- Registrars - "I had my wedding in the midsomer court on Saturday and I wanted to pass on my thanks to the registrars who helped make my day so special. My husband and I were looked after so well and ensured everything went smoothly. Thank you so much."
- Libraries -"Thank you for welcoming our year 1 classes in the library today. The children all had a fantastic time and really enjoyed learning how to take book homes when they visit with their parents. 1B were very excited to tell each other, on the walk back to school, all about the books that they had read in the library today."
- Homelessness & Advice - "Just wanted to share I had some lovely feedback from one of my duty cases that X triaged last week he said "X was lovely and made me smile for the first time in months"

- Crematorium & Cemetery Services - "Just wanted to say how lovely the gardens looked yesterday when we visited after being overseas for 3 months, especially the new area in memory of those who were lost in the pandemic."
