Donate for reuse

You can help to reduce waste and support a local charity by donating for reuse.

Items for reuse can be donated at all 10 household recycling centres:

• Amersham
• Aston Clinton
• Aylesbury
• Beaconsfield
• Bledlow Ridge
• Buckingham
• Burnham
• Chesham
• High Wycombe
• Langley

Items are collected from the household recycling centres to be sold at the reuse shop at Aston Clinton recycling centre.

The top 10 items the reuse shops are always looking for are: 

• branded hoovers (for example Dyson, Henry or Shark)
• flat screen televisions and laptop computers
• power tools 
• bikes (all sizes, past their best or even parts of bikes) 
• assembled furniture (for example chest of drawers, desks, mirrors)
• outdoor furniture (for example chairs and tables)
• garden items (for example barbecues, garden tools, plant pots and ornaments)
• children's toys (for example action figures, board games, ride-ons, dolls houses:
  • all toys need to have the CE safety label
• antiques (for example train sets, memorabilia, and chests or trunks)
• musical instruments
