Help taking out your bins

We offer a free assisted bin collection service for anyone who can’t move their bins to the boundary of their property because of age, illness, or disability.

You're eligible for an assisted collection if any of the following apply:

• you're aged 75 or over
• you have a certified short or long term medical condition
• you're registered with a disability

If you qualify and have no one over 16 at home to help, we’ll add you to our list within 10 working days. After that, we’ll collect your bin from an agreed spot, empty it, and return it.

If your bins have not been emptied on collection day, you should report a missed bin collection.

If you no longer need your bins collecting from a particular location other than the property boundary, cancel your assisted collection.
