If your application is accepted, you will be sent a confirmation email. You'll need to choose a childcare provider and show them this confirmation email. Your child can take up their funded childcare place the term starting after their second birthday.

Funded childcare for 2-year-olds - when your child turns 3
Once your child turns 3 they will receive the universal 15 hours funded childcare available to all 3 and 4 years-olds. If you’re a working parent or carer, you may be able to get an additional 15 hours on top of this.
