About the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)

People and Skills

One of the three priorities of the UKSPF is 'People and Skills' which will support residents from all backgrounds across Buckinghamshire.

Our priorities for 'People and Skills' are to provide:

  • support to get them closer to mainstream provision and employment
  • life and basic skills training, including:
    • digital
    • English
    • maths
    • English for speakers of other languages (ESOL)
  • career skills for people who are unable to access training through the adult education budget or wrap around support
  • job seeking support
  • support to prepare them for work and sustained employment
