Apply for a secondary school place

Submit your school application

If you live in Buckinghamshire, and your child will be starting secondary school in September 2026, apply for your child's school place online.

The deadline to submit a timely application was 31 October, however you can submit a late application using the link below.

What you'll need

You must submit evidence to verify the address used in your child’s application. In most cases, if you're the Council Tax payer, you'll only need to provide your Council Tax account number (or a Council Tax bill, if you're submitting a late application).

If you are not the Council Tax payer for the property you live in with your child, then you must send us an electricity bill less than 3 months old, showing energy usage at your address. This can be either:

  • a scan of a paper bill, or
  • a digital copy downloaded from your electricity supplier

Which address you need to use

The address in your child’s application must be their Normal Home Address.

If this address changes (for example, if you move house), you must send us evidence.
