Former Wycombe District Sports Facility Strategy 2015 to 2020

Last updated: 1 August 2015

Executive summary

The Sports Facility Strategy has two elements:

  1. an audit, gap analysis and recommendations relating to outdoor and indoor sports facilities that has been conducted in line with Sport England guidance. This provides the evidence for requesting on and off site contributions requested from developers
  2. an audit of the needs and aspirations of facility-owning amateur and professional clubs that provide sporting opportunities to local communities. This enables the former Wycombe District Council to have a clear plan for developing sports facilities in the future, as a method for prioritising projects has also been developed
