Make sure your email is genuine

Some emails being received by residents about late payments are not from the council. If you're unsure, you can check your online account, pay online or contact us. Learn more about these types of emails at National Cyber security.

Report a change of tenants to the Council Tax team

If you are a landlord or managing agent, you can tell us if there has been a change in tenancies online.

You will need to provide:

  • your details
  • the landlord or managing agent's details (if applicable)
  • the tenant's full name
  • the property address or account number
  • the tenant's forwarding address if known

To tell us about a change of tenants, go to our customer portal and select “Landlords reporting a change” from the menu on the left. You do not need to sign in or register to access this link.
