We will be texting or emailing residents who are late paying their Council Tax. This communication is genuine but if you’d like reassurance you can log in to check your online account or pay online. There is no need to contact us if you've already paid.

Amend your Council Tax Direct Debit

Use this service to amend your Council Tax Direct Debit:

  • amount
  • payment date (1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th or 25th of the month)
  • bank details

You can also sign up for paperless billing in your online Council Tax account.

Changing the frequency of your Direct Debit

You can change your Direct Debit payments from 10 monthly payments to 12 monthly payments to help spread the cost out across the year.

Contact us to request to pay 12 monthly.

Cancel your Direct Debit

You will need to cancel your Direct Debit through your bank or building society.
