Citizenship ceremonies
How to book
If you have international travel planned soon (update from June 2026)
If you have international travel planned soon, you should read the following guidance from the Home Office.
You may wish to complete any planned travel before you attend a citizenship ceremony.
Once you become a British citizen, you will no longer be able to enter the UK using your BRP or digital status, or by presenting your citizenship certificate at the UK border.
For travel, you will need either a:
- British passport
- certificate of entitlement to the right of abode (which can be added to a valid foreign passport)
You cannot use the Fast Track service when you’re applying for a first adult passport.
Refer to GOV.UK for information on:

You will be provided with the next available ceremony dates within your 3 month deadline.
