Hot weather

The weather is exceptionally hot. View guidance on conserving water and staying safe in hot weather and what to do if you see someone sleeping on the streets on Severe Weather Emergency Provision (SWEP).

Bin collections will start from 6am on 30 June and 1 July

Due to the hot weather, we'll start collecting bins from 6am on Monday 30 June and Tuesday 1 July. If your bin is due for collection, make sure you put your bins out the night before or no later than 6am on the day of collection.

Order textile recycling sacks

Residents of Chiltern and Wycombe can request textile sacks so that their textiles can be collected along with other recycling.

If you live in the Aylesbury Vale or South Bucks area

If you live in South Buckinghamshire, you can recycle clothing and other textiles using our kerbside collections. Put your textiles in one small carrier bag and place alongside your bins on your recycling collection day.

Avoid using bin liners because our crews might mistake them for general waste.

If you live in Aylesbury Vale, kerbside collections are not available.

You can recycle all textiles and clothing at household recycling centres, including worn or damaged clothing, sheets, towels, shoes, belts and bags.
