Due to the hot weather and our commitment to the safety of our collection crews, all bin collections will now take place from 6am on Thursday 10th July and Friday 11th July. Leave your bins out the night before or no later than 6am on your collection day.

The benefits of recycling are clear even when some materials have to be transported out of the UK.

Buckinghamshire Council is proud of its comprehensive kerbside recycling scheme, including weekly food waste which is all recycled a few miles outside of Aylesbury.

There are lots of ways residents can reduce their waste the main one is ensuring food is recycled (as a large portion of Buckinghamshire bins still contain food waste).

There are also offers and discounts available to Buckinghamshire residents to help reduce waste which can be found on Recycle For Buckinghamshire’s website as well as the Zero waste map.
