How to pay for garden waste collections

To pay for your garden waste, whether you're signing up for the first time or renewing, you will now need to register for a My Buckinghamshire account.

This is a new account system, replacing any existing MyAccount that you may have had so any old usernames or passwords will not work.

We'll ask you to:

  • register for a new My Buckinghamshire account
  • confirm your email address by clicking on a link that we send you by email
  • return to the garden waste payment form and sign in to pay for your subscription

Paying for a new subscription

You can use your My Buckinghamshire account to pay for a new garden waste subscription.

This will now be a rolling 12 month subscription and you will need to pay again in 12 months time if you want to continue the service. This means that you can now sign up any time throughout the year.

There will still be the 6 week suspension of garden waste during December and January.

Direct debits and recurring payments

In your new account, you will not be able to set up a direct debit to pay the £59 or set up a recurring payment for each year. We will also not be able to use any existing direct debit to pay for this years service.

This means you will have to:

  • pay the £59 in full when you sign up or renew
  • renew the service each year when your subscription expires

We will not use your existing direct debits to pay for this service. You can cancel the direct debit through your bank for peace of mind but it's not required.

When your subscription starts

The 2024 service started week commencing Monday 22 January 2024 after the 6 week suspension.

When your collections start will depend on what month you sign up and pay for the service as you can now do this at any time throughout the year.
