Applications older than 30 years
We make certain details available relating to planning applications that we've received since July 1948.
You can:
Searching for older records can require checking an index, usually an annotated plotting card or map, with the application details held on microfiche.
We have suspended our service for viewing microfiche in person until further notice. This is whilst we resolve system integration problems with older microfiche devices.
You can still apply for copies of microfiche documents online.
You can use our paid planning advice services to:
- look up the complete planning history of a property
- find, scan and provide documents held on microfiche such as a planning decision notice, appeal decisions or a Tree Preservation Order
