Apply for consent to work on a listed building

Listed buildings have special protection under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.

This protection means that you may need consent from your local planning authority (Buckinghamshire Council) to carry out work on the listed building.

It is a criminal offence to carry out unauthorised works to a listed building, and works may be subject to enforcement action and prosecution.
