Road signs
To apply for a road sign, you must:
- Complete the Tourist and Private Sign Application Form DOCX, 1.82 MB
- Submit it with a non-refundable cheque (made payable to Buckinghamshire Council) for £200 to cover admin.
If your application is successful
If successful you'll be advised of the full cost of the signs, which will be at your expense and must be met in advance of the signs being installed.
All works will be undertaken by us and the full cost quoted will include a fee for all future sign maintenance, including replacement.
Priority will be given to approved schemes in the Business Plan.
If your application is refused
If it is refused, an explanation for the refusal will be given.
Unauthorised signs
We'll remove all unauthorised signs and charge the cost of removal to the developer.
