Report a heavy goods vehicle using a restricted road

Report a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) that is breaking a weight or width restriction on a public road.

You can report a HGV online.

To report a HGV, you'll need:

• your name and contact details
• the date and time of the incident
• the location
• the direction the vehicle was travelling
• the vehicle registration, make and model (if known)

After you report a HGV:

• we review and investigate the report
• we may contact the haulage company
• we use reports to help plan future action

We may not be able to provide an update in every case.
