Fly-posting is the act of putting up advertisements on public or private property without permission.
This could be a:
- sign
- poster
- flyer
- sticker
The posting of these items can cause obstructions, distractions and nuisance for both road and footpath users.
Fly-posting is a criminal offence and we have the power to investigate and issue fixed penalty notices to anyone involved.
