Aylesbury Sci-Fi Day

Aylesbury Sci-Fi Day will be out of this world!

The last of a series of family-friendly events that form part of Buckinghamshire Council’s ‘WhizzFizz on Tour’, Aylesbury Sci-Fi Day, is set to take over Aylesbury Library and the town centre on Saturday 19 October.
Experience an unforgettable FREE day - celebrating the wonders of science fiction, fantasy and superheroes. Meet your favourite superheroes around town and look forward to prop exhibitions, artist workshops, quizzes, comic book stalls, games and more.

Councillor Clive Harriss, Buckinghamshire Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure said:
“Aylesbury Sci-Fi Day is going to be out of this world - perfect for fans of sci-fi, fantasy, superheroes and comics of all ages, and it’s free!

“It’s important to us to give all children in Bucks the chance to enjoy cultural events and activities, so we’re delighted to be able to bring this event to Aylesbury. And with many of the activities taking place indoors, it’s a great choice, rain or shine.

“With support from local communities and businesses we’ve been able to put on an array of events across the county over the summer as part of WhizzFizz on Tour, including the Grand Re-opening of Chesham Library and a new festival for High Wycombe, Wycombe Celebrates.”
