Audiobooks
You can borrow audiobooks (including tape or CD sets) for 3 weeks at a charge of £3.

Overdue charges
Your membership will be automatically suspended if you have outstanding charges of £10 or more (£5 for a child's membership).
All library services will be suspended until you fully clear the debt.
You can pay online or in person at the library.
We may send overdue reminders, but these are a courtesy only. You are responsible for returning items on time.

Damaged items
If you lose or damage an item you should contact Buckinghamshire Library Service.
You must pay the cost of replacing any lost or damaged items.

Scanning
The first page scanned costs £1.30. Additional pages (A3, A4 and A5) are 37p per page.
Borrowing, membership and notifications
Borrowing items
You can:
- borrow books for free for 3 weeks
- have up to 30 books on loan at any time
- borrow eLibrary items free of charge (loan periods vary)

Notifications
Notifications about reservations, overdue items and items borrowed at library reception desks are sent by email.
To receive notifications by post, ask library staff or update your notification preferences in your library account.

Concessions
Concessions apply to Buckinghamshire libraries stock only.
Free reservations and notifications
You do not have to pay reservation charges or postal notification charges if you're:
- under 18
- over 65
- unable to read because of a physical, sensory or learning disability
- a Home Library Service customer
- a Library Buddy customer
- an assisted adult aged 65 or over
Free borrowing and overdue charges
You do not have to pay borrowing charges or overdue charges if you're:
- unable to read because of a physical, sensory or learning disability
- a Home Library Service customer
- a Library Buddy customer
You do not have to pay overdue charges if you're:
- an assisted adult aged 18 to 64
- an assisted adult aged 65 or over
- a carer
Extended loan periods
You can borrow items for longer if you're:
- a Library Buddy customer
- a Home Library Service customer
- a carer
You can also borrow children's books for an extended period if you are a registered childminder or playgroup leader.
