Library system update

Libraries Team, 24 May 2024 - Events

Our library system is currently undergoing an update which will impact our library users. Buckinghamshire libraries will be open as usual but you will need to bring your library card to access some library services as our staff will not have access to your library account while our system is offline. Thank you for your patience while this work is completed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Last updated on: 09 July 2024

Services which are available

  • Collecting a reservation – where a notice has already been received
  • Borrowing library items with a library card
  • Returning library items
  • Joining the library
  • Reissuing an item (in person only) – you must have the item and your library card with you
  • Use self-service kiosks to issue and return items
  • Printing (except remote printing), photocopying and scanning services
  • Hublets

Digital Library

There may be some disruption when accessing some digital library resources like BorrowBox, PressReader and Libby between this period. You can:

  • Access Libby
  • Access BorrowBox if you were already logged in before 1 July
  • Access PressReader if you were already logged in before 1 July. (If your 30 days access has ended, you will not be able to sign up again until our system is back online

Please note that we are unable to assist with digital library queries until we are back online.

  • Access to your library account online
