Wendover Community Library
Due to our ongoing transformation project, Wendover Community Library will be closed from Monday, 23 September, until spring 2025 for renovations. A temporary location will be available at The Clock Tower with limited services.
From Tuesday, 24 September, a temporary location with limited opening hours will be open at The Clock Tower (Wendover Parish Council Building, High Street, Wendover, HP22 6DU).
Due to space constraints, this service will only be available for collection of reserved items and returns, in addition to a limited selection of picture books. No other books or audiobooks will be accessible for browsing.
Reservation fees
During the transformation project, items reserved at the Clock Tower are free and reservations can be made in person or online (see ‘opening hours’ below). Fees will be cleared by staff on collection of the items at this location, please do not pay for reservations online.

A new library is coming
The Wendover Community Library is about to embark on an exciting new chapter. Following public consultations on the redesign of both the exterior and interior, the new library will become an inclusive, multifunctional community hub. It will serve as a single point of contact for local information and services while also providing a range of social, educational, health, and cultural activities.
